The Earth Day event is much more than a celebration. It is a way to help raise awareness for endangered animals. At the Snow Forts you will find a catalog called 'Animals We're Helping'. It's full of interesting facts, and information on some very special animals that are being supported by Club Penguin's 2011 Coins for Change donations

Painted Dog: African Painted Dogs only have four toes on each foot, instead of five!

Saiga Antelope: Saiga can eat poisonous plants that many other animals turn away from!

Andean Cat: Andean Cats are very rare-they have only been observed in the wild a few times!

Snow Leopard: The bottom of their paws are covered in fur, to protect them from the cold

Cotton Top Tamarin: These miniature monkey can make about 38 distinct sounds, to express joy, sadness and anger!

Lion: Although sometimes called "king of the jungle", lions do not live in jungles!
Rockhopper Penguin: These social penguins have blood-red eyes. Not all of them are pirates!
Black Footed Penguin: These penguins don't live in the antarctic, but in the cool waters of South Africa!
Magellanic Penguin: These penguins can swim underwater at speeds up to 15 miles per hour!
Tapir: Tapirs are excellent swimmers, and will hang out in the water holes to cool off from the heat!

There are actually many ways to help the environment around the island. You can help clean up the ocean with the Aqua Grabber! In the Soda Seas, there are a number of barrels that need to be cleaned up. But make sure you don't sink!

  The Earth Day Party kicks off April 19! Thanks to everyone's hard work during Coins for Change 2011, lots of animals are receiving much needed support. So to celebrate, new animal costumes are coming out! Get your paws on the new lion and rockhopper penguin costumes, included last year's favorites-the snow leopard and painted dog costumes!

Every year, penguins all over the island set out to search for colorful eggs. There's even a special prize in it for those who manage to find every egg!

 If you get stuck in the Scavenger Hunt, rally a group of searchers. Two heads are better than one, and twenty heads are even better!

The Earth Day Party is just around the corner! During this event, the island celebrates how important the environment is. It also helps raise awareness for the animals being supported by donations from coins for change. This year, there will be even more rare animal costumes to choose from! A new Lion costume and Rockhopper Penguin costume will added! Aunt Arctic will  be around during this event on April 19-24

 A huge dimension-crossing box portal has appeared at the Snow Forts, and Rookie is super excited to look for the home of the orange puffles

PH is working at the Pet Shop everyday to train puffles. She round them up, teach them how to bowl and skate and lasso. She once had a little herd of puffles herself. But those puffles bacame to well-trained, they were accepted into the EPF

Remember to bring your purple puffle when playing Dance Contest to gain extra points! Which also  means more coins!!

Rookie will be here around this year's April Fool's party! We will be able to earn his stamp, background and add him to our buddylist! Rookie will be exploring the Box Dimension once again to find out where the orange puffle originally came from. The April Fool's Day Party starts when Rookie enters the Box Dimension on March 29!

This year's Puffle Party has a Puffle Play Zone for members that will let you see the world from your puffle's point of view. The Night Club Rooftop will be a puffle dance party and the Ski Lodge will be a Puffle Spa!

After a dangerous voyage, and countless adventures, Rockhopper's Quest came to a close this week. The high-tech upgrades were removed from the Migrator, and the famous Captain Rockhopper and his first mate sailed off into the sunset.

After years of working with the Elite Puffles, the Puffle Handler has managed to teach them new tricks
