Patty69299 asked if there would also be a music video for "Anchors Aweigh". The answer is yes! The team is working on a short animated music video with both Rockhopper and the Penguin Band. Stay tuned for that next week...

New Coffee Shop Grand Opening! By Happy77

Happy77 here. I know some of you may have already heard about this... This week we're finally updating the Coffee Shop with a brand new look! I love it and I'm sure you will too.

Here's a sneak peek of the new design:

A few of us are going to celebrate the new design by logging on this Thursday at 12:30pm Penguin Standard Time. We'd love to have some of you online with us! Wear a coffee apron and join us on the Snow Day server to celebrate the grand opening of the new Coffee Shop!

You heard the news? Smoothie Smash, the new game on the island, will be released this week at the Café! But that's not all ...
From Thursday, August 30th, the Café will have a whole new look with a decorative redone from floor to ceiling! Look, I have a little preview for you:


Designers seem to have done a good job, right? In my opinion, it will be a HUGE party at Café this Thursday! In any case, I will not miss it. ;-)

It's been a little while, but I've got a new Reviewed By You! Last time we asked what your favorite summer activity is. Here's one of my favorites from Ginny7891:

"I really love to do lots of things, including reading, going to the bookshop or library, visiting family and friends, tubing (which is hanging onto a tube and have a motorboat pull you around, like Hydro Hopper), swimming, and a lot more things that are so much fun!  My favorite two would have to be visiting family and friends and reading.  It's always nice to catch up with people, even if they're in books!  Have a totally awesome summer, CP!"

This month, the Club Penguin team's been finding ways to make healthy choices. So we want to know, what do you do to stay healthy? Healthier dinners, playing sports, or maybe something else?

Kc Floppy nominated their friend Zekev. They've got an igloo fit for royalty, and I'm loving the pumpkin patch!

I hope you checked out Billybob's post about what's new in August. The party's getting closer, and I'm pretty excited. So I wanted to give you guys another sneak peek of what you can expect during the Adventure Party: Temple of Fruit!

UK Exclusive: Unlock Items Online with innocent smoothies!

Hiya!

Wow, it's exciting to appear on the What's New blog! Thanks to Billybob for such a warm welcome, and to all of you guys for your kind comments.

So, this is my first post and I've got some amazing news to share with you... but before we get to that, I'd like to tell you a little about myself. My name is Daffodaily5, but some people just call me Daffo (it's quicker, I guess) and I'm from Club Penguin here in the UK (hence the raincoat).

Some of you guys have asked about my favourite things to do on Club Penguin; at the moment, decorating. I don't change my outfit much, but I'm always changing my igloo. At the moment it's a crazy disco jungle (I'm a bit of an outdoors-y type).


Anyway, enough about me, let's get to my exciting news from the UK! With the Adventure Party coming August 23, we wanted to make some cool, fruity costumes and igloo items for you to collect (one of my favourites is the kiwi armchair)!

Watch out for special packs of innocent smoothies and fruit tubes for kids in shops across the UK - if you manage to collect all the items you'll get a fantastic pineapple igloo. Check out the video below for more info:

I've really enjoyed seeing everyone rocking out at the Make Your Mark: Ultimate Jam. I had an awesome time, and can't wait for the next party. 

There was tons to check out during this music and dance party, so I wanted to share with you some of the superstar action we saw all over the island.

Hi everyone!


This is Happy77. Many of you ask us questions on Loustik005, the mysterious penguin that sometimes responds to your comments. So I thought it was time to give you answers and I went to interview him! That's what it gave:


Q: Hi Loustik005! You could tell us a little about yourself and tell us what you do for the team of Club Penguin?
A: Hi Happy77, hello everyone! I am a blogger and want to know EVERYTHING. I'm always looking for stuff to fashion on CP or latest scoop! To find them, I observe what is happening on the island, I meet a maximum of penguins and talk to you on the blog. If you see or hear something, jump fins attached to your keyboard to let me know!


Q: What interests you right now?
A: Hula! Lots of stuff ... But The Mega Show is the event soon! I met a lot of musicians and dancers. Besides, I have seen groups that cartonnent on stage! Each dance step behind each instrument, each scene, I come across that provide looks A LOT! Not to mention the holidays in the igloos where I was invited ... really great!





Q: When did you started to play on Club Penguin?
A: Oooooooh, it's been quite some time now. I was there when Club Penguin was released in French, it was huge! Today there are many more players and thus even more interesting to encounter penguins!


Q: What's your hat? I love it! : D
A: Hahaha, thank you! This is the first thing I bought Club Penguin: the hat out of newspaper! I wear it very often, it has to be sentimental:-D. In addition, it is easy to recognize, locate my friends in the blink of an eye on the island.
